who we are
At Mei & Max, we believe every memory deserves its special place. We craft timeless keepsakes designed to honour life’s most meaningful moments. Rooted in the belief that every chapter—especially those shared with the ones we love—should be preserved with care, our collections are created with intention, sentiment, and enduring elegance.
Our debut collection, furever, was created especially for dog lovers. Thoughtfully designed to capture the stories, milestones, and everyday memories shared with our furry companions, furever is a space to reflect on the love and moments that make the bond with your furkid so unique.
Based in Sydney, Australia, Mei & Max was founded by Deborah, inspired by her own journey with her two beloved Shiba Inus, Maddie and Maxie. Their bond is the heart behind everything we create.

Did you create this from scratch?
Absolutely. Every word, prompt, and section has been thoughtfully created from scratch by our founder, Deborah. In our Handmade Limited Edition, the books were created and finished by hand using traditional bookbinding techniques.
Will you ship internationally or just within Australia?
We’ll be shipping Australia-wide at launch, with international shipping options opening shortly after.
How old are Maddie and Maxie?
Maddie (Cream Shiba Inu) turns 9 this year and Maxie (Dirty Red Shiba Inu) is 5! They're not related although they very much love each other!
