We take great care in creating and packing every order and hope you love your purchase. Please read the following information carefully before placing your order.

Change of Mind

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns for change of mind. This includes:

  • deciding the item is no longer wanted

  • ordering the incorrect product

  • personal preference after receiving the item

We encourage you to review product descriptions and images carefully before purchasing. If you have any questions prior to ordering, please contact us (you can find the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page) - we’re always happy to help.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 30 days of delivery, including:

  • your order number

  • a brief description of the issue

  • clear photos of the item and packaging

Once reviewed, we will arrange a replacement or refund, depending on the nature of the issue and stock availability.

Handmade & Non-Handmade Items

Handmade Items

Our handmade journals are created and bound by hand using traditional bookbinding techniques.

Because each piece is made by hand:

  • slight variations in colour, texture, alignment, or finish may occur

  • no two journals will be perfectly identical

  • small imperfections are a natural part of the handmade process

These characteristics are not considered faults but part of what makes each journal unique.

Non-Handmade Items

Items not listed as handmade are produced using standard manufacturing processes and should be consistent in appearance and finish. Any defects outside normal quality expectations will be treated as faulty items.

Returns Terms & Conditions

  • Items must be unused and in original condition

  • We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item shows signs of use or damage not caused during transit

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is confirmed to be faulty

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method once approved

  • Can I return my order if I change my mind?

At this stage, we do not accept returns for change of mind. Please check product details carefully before purchasing.

  • What if my journal arrives damaged?

If your item arrives damaged, please email us within 14 days with your order number and photos of the issue. We’ll organise a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.

  • My journal isn’t “perfect” — is that normal?

Yes. If you've purchased our handmade limited edition journals, these are bound by hand, not machines. Small variations or imperfections are part of the handmade process and make each piece unique.

  • Are handmade items considered faulty if they look slightly different?

No. Slight variations in handmade items are expected and are not considered faults. However, if there is a genuine defect that affects use or durability, please contact us.

  • Do you offer refunds or replacements?

We offer refunds or replacements for faulty or damaged items in line with Australian Consumer Law.

  • Who pays for return shipping?

Return shipping is covered for confirmed faulty or damaged items. For all other cases, shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • How long do refunds take?

Once approved, refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Please allow several business days for your bank or provider to finalise the transaction.
